Office of the Executive Secretary


The Arizona Conference Executive Secretary serves as the guardian of the corporate and ecclesiastical records of the Conference. In addition, the Executive Secretary oversees issues involving Conference personnel. T
he Executive Secretary provides direction and leadership to those maintaining the official records of membership for the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Arizona. It is his duty to support the Conference President in service to the Constituency of the Arizona Conference.

 



Dr. Jorge A. Ramírez

Jorge A. Ramírez began his pastoral ministry in 1985 in the Southeastern California Conference, where he served as Youth Pastor, Associate Pastor and Senior Pastor of large congregations for 22 years. In October 2007 he moved to Virginia to serve as the Vice President of Administration of the Potomac Conference. In January 2019, he received an invitation from the Arizona Conference Corporation to serve as the Executive Secretary and Ministerial Director. He holds a BA degree in pastoral ministry from Loma Linda University and a Masters of Divinity from Andrews University. In May of 2014 he completed his Doctor of Ministry degree from Andrews University in the area of Leadership and Church Growth. Jorge is married to Bexy Castellón who works as a Respiratory Therapist at Saint Joseph Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. They are blessed with three young men: Reuben, Ryan, and Reiss. Jorge enjoys jogging, traveling, and playing guitar. His greatest passion however, is to serve a God who has the power to restore any broken relationship. He considers this the greatest miracle in life.



Carolina Flores

Carolina Flores has served as the Arizona Conference Executive Assistant to the Secretariat Department since August of 2018. She has previously worked with the Arizona Conference as the Administrative Assistant of Hispanic Ministries, Youth Ministries and the Ministerial Department. Carolina is actively involved in her home church with the Children and Youth Ministries. She is a native of Arizona and enjoys the warm (which for some may seem hot) summers. She enjoys walking, painting, but especially spending time with her two boys.



Rosemary Abrahams

Rosemary Abrahams joined the Arizona Conference as Conference Clerk, in charge of Membership and Statistics, in October of 2014. She graduated from Andrews University with a Bachelor of Architecture. Rosemary worked for the Chandler Unified School District as a Library Media Specialist for 6 years before receiving a special call to work in ministry. She and her husband Scoble live in Chandler, AZ. They have two children: Sebastian and Rhiannon.
